Artist Andrei Sannikov


Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1998.
In 2008 received the title of Honored Artist of Mari El.

Born in 1965 in the city of Yoshkar-Ola Mari El republic. The first artistic steps makes studying at art school for children. Admission to Yoshkar-Ola Art College predetermined the further choice of profession. Graduated in 1984 from the picturesque branch of art school, he decided to continue his professional education and entered the Moscow University of Industrial Arts (former Stroganov) at the Faculty of Design. 1 course was called up for service in the Navy. After serving 3 years of continued training. During his studies really started painting.
Forget Me Not
Perfectly his diploma in 1992, returned to his hometown. Became actively involved in the artistic life of the republic. In 1996 he held his first personal exhibition in Yoshkar-Ola. A talented young artist was invited to Milan, where he has several series of works devoted to Italy: "Small towns of Italy", "Northern Italy" and "Streets of Venice." In 1997 and 1998 were held solo exhibitions in Milan and Turin. In 2004 he took part in the international competition of painting in Brescia, Italy, where he was awarded the diploma and a gold medal. In 2006, receives a state order to perform paintings on the theme "The history of the Mari region." Now he continues to work creatively. A.Yu.Sannikova works are in galleries and private collections in Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Denmark.

The artist's works - seascape Derek Gardner (Derek GM Gardner).


Artist - seascapes Derek Gardner was born in 1914. He is self-taught artist, who later became a master in his art. He had a unique ability to portray the court with great precision, paid great attention to detail, which is the result of many hours of painstaking research and preparations.

Derek Gardner explained that this interest began at a relatively young age, when he read the book "The Life of Nelson." He liked to draw ships and battle Nelson era so that at age 91, the exhibition of his paintings was devoted almost entirely courts Nelson. Today Derek Gardner is one of the leading artists - marine painters of his time, and his work continues to fascinate collectors around the world.

His works are in many public collections, including the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, Royal Naval College at Dartmouth, museums in Bermuda and Tenerife, and in many private collections around the world.
