The artist's works - seascape Derek Gardner (Derek GM Gardner).


Artist - seascapes Derek Gardner was born in 1914. He is self-taught artist, who later became a master in his art. He had a unique ability to portray the court with great precision, paid great attention to detail, which is the result of many hours of painstaking research and preparations.

Derek Gardner explained that this interest began at a relatively young age, when he read the book "The Life of Nelson." He liked to draw ships and battle Nelson era so that at age 91, the exhibition of his paintings was devoted almost entirely courts Nelson. Today Derek Gardner is one of the leading artists - marine painters of his time, and his work continues to fascinate collectors around the world.

His works are in many public collections, including the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, Royal Naval College at Dartmouth, museums in Bermuda and Tenerife, and in many private collections around the world.
