Cathie Bleck internationally respected artist. Known for their distinctive works in the art Scratchboard.
"When I was a girl, I fell in love with the darkness. Instruments that I work with, pen, ink, thin blades and clay, was a natural choice for the arts."
She graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign. He currently lives and works in Cleveland Heights, Chicago. Conducted more than fifty exhibitions at the international level. Black works are in the collections of museums in the United States, Canada, in the galleries of London. Cathie Bleck has received many awards, including the Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators, New York.



Scratchboard- appliances when drawings created using sharp knives in a thin layer of white clay, covered with black ink, can also be done with multiple layers of colored clay. So the pressure on the tool used, determines the color that will work. Depending on the purpose of the artist, some areas may be covered with layers of watercolor or akrila.
